Integration
Aagman + WhatsApp Business.
The fastest way to notify a host that someone is at reception. No new app, no email lag — just a WhatsApp from the kiosk.
How it works
Visitor checks in. Host gets pinged. Done.
- 1Visitor selects host at the kiosk.
- 2Aagman composes a WhatsApp Business message with visitor name, photo, and purpose.
- 3Host's phone shows the WhatsApp instantly with one-tap reply buttons.
- 4Host's reply triggers the next action (let in, ask to wait, escalate).
- 5Aagman logs the entry, prints the badge, and the visitor proceeds.
Sample message
Visitor for you, Pranav
Asha Patil from Acme Industries is at reception (Pune HO). She's here for the 11:00 AM meeting. ID and photo on file.
WhatsApp integration FAQ
How does Aagman use WhatsApp?
When a visitor selects their host at the kiosk, Aagman sends a WhatsApp Business message to the host's phone with the visitor's name, photo, purpose of visit, and a one-tap reply ('Coming down' / 'Send up' / 'Ask to wait'). The host doesn't need to download an app.
Does Aagman work with regular WhatsApp or only WhatsApp Business API?
Aagman uses the official WhatsApp Business API for outbound messages so deliverability and auditability are reliable. Hosts receive messages on their normal WhatsApp — there's no separate app to install.
What happens if the host doesn't reply?
Aagman escalates after a configurable timeout (default 90 seconds) to a backup contact you set. You can also route to a Teams channel or email as a fallback.
Are visitor photos sent over WhatsApp?
Yes — the visitor's photo is attached to the host notification. Photos are stored in AWS Mumbai and signed URLs are used for delivery; the photo is not retained on WhatsApp servers beyond the message lifetime.
